39 weeks...

We cut it close on this maternity session... 39 weeks!?! Look at this beautiful glowing Mama and her cute bump :) I've known Kristy forever we were even roommates and coworkers briefly in our early 20's, and I shot her and Lonnie's wedding back in... geez, 2008 or 9? Seems crazy it was that long ago, apparently I didn't even keep a blog back then or I'd link in the photos! Anyway, we thought it would be cute to shoot their maternity session at Edgefield which is where they got married :) I am so excited for these two to become parents! I can't wait to meet the little one! :)
GOOD LUCK TO YOU GUYS! :) :) :) It was great to see you!

Baby B - 2 Weeks New

I met up with this sweet little brand new guy and his parents last week and he was so perfect during his session! After a brief snack he went off to sleepy time and let me put him into pretty much every prop I brought along. These newborn and baby sessions are making me get a little ansty for my own new baby to make his/her debut in January! Congrats N. Family on your new addition! :)

Baby Andre - 10 Weeks Old

This sweet little guy lives across the country or I would have gotten to him sooner! I was able to catch up on his first visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house here on the west coast. He wasn't thrilled about being in front of the camera (or being shoved in buckets and cars... lol) but I just love all the little faces he made for us :)

Brian & Renee - Skamania Lodge 9.21.12

I've been waiting for Brian and Renee's wedding for a looooong time :) In fact, two years ago we did a couples/family type photo shoot in this very same location and very same time of year (and practically the same weather/sky color; check it out, pretty amazing!!!) before these two were engaged. Renee and I joked about it being their future wedding venue and showed me where she wanted the ceremony to happen if/when they ever did decide to wed. We even looked at wedding albums inside the lodge lol :) Brian was a good sport and pretended to roll his eyes at us; little did we know that he already had a ring and plans to pop the question just a few weeks later!!! Fast forward to now and all of their sweetest wedding dreams came true. I really have to applaud the awesome vendors they worked with for bringing their vision to life. When they first saw their reception site, they were moved to tears at how perfectly the decor fit what they had imagined. Their flowers were perfect, their day ran smoothly thanks to their coordinator and the event hosts at Skamania, they had a super fun DJ, a beautiful cake, the 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen were super fun and helpful, we had clouds but NO RAIN  (!!!), it was literally a perfect day. I was with Renee from the night before her wedding to capture the rehearsal until we shot their "going away" photos in front of the hotel the morning after her wedding (she lucked out in being my friend lol :) It was the least I could do to thank her and Brian for the amazing hospitality, great food, for encouraging me to get "off the clock" and dance the night away (which I totally did!), a comfortable room, and for being an oh so precious bride :) Love you guys!!!
