Amanda & Emir's Wedding 5.17.12

I met these two a couple of years back when I photographed Amanda's best friend (and Maid of Honor) Janae's wedding. I remember taking a picture of Amanda and Emir together that day and hearing all of their friends declare that "They were next!" Truly, they are one of those couples that just radiates love. They have a shared, spiritual connection and genuine compassion for one another that my words just can't do justice to. They were so fun to work with and the day couldn't have been more perfect! It didn't even rain... IN MAY IN OREGON! :) As I mentioned, their day was beautiful. The flowers their florist designed (Lora of Sophisticated Floral Design) were AMAZING... honestly, I think my favorite wedding flowers so far. They smelled like a sweet puff of perfume, not overpowering, just pretty. The neutral shades of ivory and pink worked so well with their Country Elegance wedding theme. I can still smell those flowers... :) Congratulations Amanda and Emir! I loved working with you on your wedding day!

Beth & Drew 3.30.12 In Downtown Portland

I'm a little a lot behind in my blogging, mostly because I've been too busy taking photos which is always a good thing! Nevertheless, this gorgeous wedding deserves some face time. Back in November, I captured Beth and Drew's engagement session at Cathedral Park in North Portland and from then on I knew that their wedding photos would be amazing. These two have such great chemistry and camera presence!
Their wedding was at the West End Theater in Portland, with preparations and first reveal at the Hotel DeLuxe nearby. We cruised around downtown Portland on their sprinkly March day ending up in a park near an old school with lots of blooming cherry trees and later found ourselves in the Governor Hotel before heading back to the West End for the ceremony.
