Together for the Holidays
I recently had the opportunity to take this family's photos as they gathered together for the holidays. I am so glad I was able to capture some memories for them! They were so sweet and we really got some great photos. I make jokes occasionally about doing a photo shoot in someone's home and how they have to rearrange things for me. Well, these guys won the 2010 prize because they actually cut down a hanging lamp in their dining room so I could set up where the light was best! It is so fun for me to take generation family photos where the grandparents and grandchildren are involved. The love within this group definitely came through to the camera. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby Kenzie ~ 5 Days Old
My camera has seen some great things this weekend and to end on a high note: A precious newborn baby girl! Every new baby in a household is special, but the first one, the one that changes a couple from ordinary people into parents is just so wonderful. Congratulations Leah and Travis... she is so beautiful!
Baby Aiden ~ 1 month old
Baby Aiden is going to be a frequent celebrity on this blog... he is doing the Baby's Complete First Year Package which includes once monthly sessions to chart his growth. Last time I saw him, he was 9 days old and he has filled out nicely since then! He was so sweet and snoozed through this month's update wearing his big boy Christmas outfit. I just love babies...
Holiday Photo Sessions ~ Part 2
Every year I do a little "thank you" for my clients by setting up a Christmas backdrop in my home and taking a few formal holiday photos of the little ones at a discounted rate. It's a whirlwind 2 day event that usually fills up fast (if you didn't hear about it, it's because my time slots were full a few hours after I announced it!) The past two years it's also expanded to my growing client base in Central Oregon as well (except those guys don't have to come to my house... I go to them!) It's a fun day and just a small way for me to express my great and most sincere appreciation for my wonderful clients. Without you all, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am SO SO thankful for being able to do what I love, which is provide amazing, artistic photos for your families.
Thank you to the clients who have stood by me since I started my business. It's been a learning process and sometimes you had to be my guinea pigs. At this point, I am very comfortable with my packages, pricing, business model, and process so I don't anticipate changing anything noticeable (aka, prices ;) in 2011. Of course I will continue to try new creative ideas and locations to bring you the unique and high quality photos you enjoy!
Here are a few great images from this weekend, again THANK YOU to my wonderful clients for your bookings and referrals. I hope to see all of you in 2011! Happy Holidays :)
