Class of 2011 ~ Congratulations Megan!

It's another beautiful Megan (see previous session and you'll understand what I mean :) I have so many pretty senior girls this year! I headed out to North Plains to the family homestead of Megan's good friend Anissa for this session. It's a loooong drive from Gresham but totally worth it. We had a great mix of Autumn colors, fencing, woods, fields, old farm equipment and, probably the most exciting discovery of the shoot for me, a rusty old Chevy sitting in a field. This was yet another session where I've had a REALLY hard time choosing photos for the blog, because I like them all. Alas, I cannot post all 50 photos from the session. Megan, your CD is in the mail and should arrive Monday. Enjoy your sneak peek and look into modeling... seriously!

Class of 2011~ Congratulations Meghan!

This year has been sooo busy for me with senior photos. I have already had several this month and I'm only halfway done with my bookings. I just love senior pictures... it's so exciting to see people on the verge of finishing up high school and embarking on their futures. It really takes me back :) I also really love taking photos this time of year in general, just as autumn is starting to show it's colors. For this session, I met up with Meghan at McMenamin's Edgefield. We walked around the beautiful grounds there and got some great shots to commemorate her senior year. These turned out wonderfully... Meghan may have a future in modeling. She's a natural! Enjoy your sneak peek and I'll see you for your family session next month!

Class of 2011~ Congratulations Brittany!

Brittany was such a trooper. It rained through most of her session but she never complained about sitting (or laying!) on the wet ground and still looked flawless at the end of the shoot. Congratulations and enjoy your sneak peek. It was nice to meet you!

Class of 2011 ~ Congrats Missy!

I've been looking forward to Missy's session for a while. Her older sister is kinda responsible for getting me into doing portrait photography. I had been almost exlusively doing scenic photos until one summer a few years ago when big sis Jessica asked me to do her senior pictures... and her boyfriend's, and a couple of her friend's... and the rest is history :) Plus these girls are my husband's cousins (would that make them my cousins in law?) so it was extra fun to do her and her friend's senior session. Gosh, now that I think about it, Missy was like, 9 years old when I first met her the year I met my husband. Ummm... I think I just felt a couple of gray hairs sprout! lol... Anyway, this was a great session; very laid back and fun. I love it when my clients have cool ideas, like posing on her awesome Mustang or using the texture of hay bales or a shop door. I'm glad we braved the rain and got some great outdoor shots. Stinkin rain! Enjoy your sneak peek Missy!

Cathedral Park

It was great to see this sweet family again this year. The girls have both grown up so much since last fall! It was fun to walk around beautiful Cathedral Park right underneath the St. Johns Bridge in North Portland and capture Family Photos for them. Enjoy your sneak peek!
