I got to do a fun family mini session for this family at my studio last weekend and we even got to go outdoors a bit. It's nice that the weather is starting to break and it will be great when I have some flowers blooming in the next couple of months!

Sweet Family of 5 - Studio Portraits

I got to know this sweet family about 6 months ago when I captured their maternity session for their tiny little girl pictured below :) Then I got to capture her as a newborn and my how she's grown in the 5 months since then! This little series was big sister's idea: "Hey! Dad should pretend like he's handing you a present! Then you act surprised!" lol :) I told her she's hired :)

Family Photo Session in The Dalles

I have been hoping to photograph this family since I first met them about a year ago when they were still a family of four :) They are such a sweet and photogenic group! I was happy when they asked me to meet them closer to their home because that meant new scenery and a mini vacation for me... at least for a few hours! We met at a park in The Dalles yesterday and got some great shots before being overcome with cold! I am loving all the shots we got both posed and playful. Enjoy the sneak peek!
