Springtime Engagement At Edgefield

This is another sweet couple who I met at this year's A Country Bridal Affair and I'm excited to shoot their May wedding at one of my favorite places along the Sandy River to kick off my busy wedding season. We met up at Edgefield (another favorite place of mine!) for some photos to be taken "rain or shine!" and lucked out with the shine. It was actually perfect weather and conditions; I was thrilled :) These two are so sweet and were very comfortable in front of the camera and with each other. I can't wait to capture the big day in just a few weeks!

*Feel free to save and share these photos and enjoy your sneak peek! The CD will be in the mail shortly, perhaps even today!

Holiday Engagement Session at Edgefield

This session was so fun! The weather didn't exactly cooperate, but this fun couple actually wanted it to rain HARDER so they could take some "soaking wet in the rain kissing photos." I admire their bravery :) Since it was more of a cold drizzle, we enjoyed the nice covered porches that Edgefield has to offer to get their shots. We started with some family photos, moved on to an engagement session and will pick up on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day with their wedding ceremony and bridal session in the snow! I have even heard the words "sleigh ride" tossed out so I'm pretty excited :) I may have mentioned this before but snow is my favorite!

Enjoy your sneak peek, the CD is on it's way!

Brandon & Jessica's Wedding 8-4-2012

I met Jessica and her Mom at A Country Bridal Affair, the bridal show that I co-hosted with Pearl and Roses Wedding Planning back in January. We did her and Brandon's (chilly! It had just snowed!) engagement session around that same time of year and it was remarkable how different the scene was yesterday. For starters, it was 100+ Degrees! It was also beautiful. The couple had such a great, supportive set of family and friends helping them to stay cool and enjoy their day, which they did! We timed our photo shoots according to the weather and made some last minute adjustments to keep them comfortable and made sure to keep everyone well hydrated! I loved all of Jessica's DIY touches; her pink Gerber daisy bouquets, hay bales, burlap, and chalkboard details were so cute and well done! As always I had an amazing time celebrating with this sweet couple on their wedding day :) Thank you so much and enjoy your sneak peek!
