Holiday Engagement Session at Edgefield

This session was so fun! The weather didn't exactly cooperate, but this fun couple actually wanted it to rain HARDER so they could take some "soaking wet in the rain kissing photos." I admire their bravery :) Since it was more of a cold drizzle, we enjoyed the nice covered porches that Edgefield has to offer to get their shots. We started with some family photos, moved on to an engagement session and will pick up on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day with their wedding ceremony and bridal session in the snow! I have even heard the words "sleigh ride" tossed out so I'm pretty excited :) I may have mentioned this before but snow is my favorite!

Joelle & Darren - Gorgeous Fall Wind Mountain Ranch Wedding

Where do I begin on this one!? I had such a great time at this wedding and working with this couple... the venue, Wind Mountain Ranch, wide open fields with fencing and ponds and fun old props is AMAZING and really tied their whole theme together. I just love this look. The colors, the time of year, the cowboy boots and western-ish feel and THE DRESS. This wedding definitely goes down as one of my favorites this year. I had a great time working with a handful of fabulous vendors to make this event happen. At the helm, keeping everything running oh so smoothly was one of my favorite people, Donna Cole of Pearl and Roses Wedding Planning... as she said, "When the vendors are having as good a time as the guests you know it's a good one!" I had a hard time narrowing down my favorite photos (shocker), so this may come close to tying the Longest Blog Post Ever in Studio 623 Photography History from a little over a year ago (hehe) so pull up a chair, maybe grab a cup of coffee and stay a while!

Jessica & Chaunce - Knoll Crest Gardens 8.18.2012

Jessica and Chaunce's wedding at Knoll Crest Gardens, in Sandy Oregon was so much fun and so beautiful! I loved the pink and black country theme and thought the couple did such a nice job with all the fine details. Knoll Crest is an amazing venue and I love that it's right in my town. Featuring natural flowers, green lawns, a gorgeous bridal suite, and gazebos overlooking a creek and pond, this gem of a venue has it all. The light was perfect for photos, just slightly overcast with some nice clouds (although I admit, I was routing for the lighting storms that were predicted too... that would have made for some awesome photos!)
