I have a bad habit of slacking off on doing formal shoots of my kids. For some reason they are very challenging for me to photograph. It's odd. I have had this one planned for awhile though (I bought the outfits in February!) and I knew that the Roslyn Lake Ruins (I know... I know... draining it saved the salmon but I used to love that lake!) would be a perfect location. I'm so happy with how these turned out! Special thanks to my Mom for finding the wash bin at an antique store and to my Dad for coming with us to assist and help Miss Hailey pick a pretty wildflower bouquet :) Without further ado, here it is. A summertime ode to my beautiful babies. I love you Hailey and Joseph!

Yesterday I got together with my friend Jessica to collaborate on some material for her website, http://www.elementsoffashion.com/ . This shoot was specifically geared towards her Trash to Treasure segment where she discusses finding great pieces of clothing and accessories for bargain prices. Here are a few photos from our shoot. Please check out her site for some fashion ideas. It's definitely a bookmark that I visit regularly!

I love maternity sessions, especially those for first time parents... family-to-be sessions as I like to call them. Maybe it's because I've felt the excitement of having a first baby on the way and I know what that little life is going to mean to them and all the wonderful changes coming their way. Now I'm getting all misty! This family-to-be was too sweet and great to work with. Enjoy your sneak peek and your new little boy this fall!

And it's a good thing too... because this sweet little one wasn't going to crack a grin for me no.matter.what! I almost got one a few times. But she is adorable when she's serious too, so it's all good! I did wedding photos for this little beauty's parents 2 years ago and was thrilled when I got the call that they had a baby and needed pictures. Enjoy your sneak peek guys!
I love the rose gardens in June. I had my senior pictures done there years ago and they are great for all kinds of pretty backdrops. Last weekend I did 4 month photos and a family session for some repeat clients of mine. Here is their sneak peek!
